As the year end nears, we’re excited to share our final collection of the year — SHOJI 🪟

Shoji are a classic and beautiful element of Japanese architecture found in many traditional homes. Traditionally, they are made with wooden lattice frames covered in translucent washi paper, which not only softly diffuses light throughout a space but also allows natural light to fill the room. They are loved for their ability to create a natural, soft barrier between the interior and exterior environment of a home, like watching the swaying shadows of trees through the screens.

This gentle interplay of light and shadow reminded us that just as light filters through the screens each waking morning, there is always room for hope and new beginnings. We hope this carries you through the rest of the year and into the new year ahead.

This collection reimagines the architectural elements of Shoji screens and their play of light and shadow through thoughtful details — from the lattice-patterned textile to embroidered trims and pin-tucked accents.

We imagined SHOJI in three gentle shades, taking inspiration from the warmth and coolness of light at different hours of the day. 
White - a classic and timeless colour.
Daylight — a soft yellow
Skylight — a tender, light blue.

Crafted from 100% cotton, the SHOJI textile features a lattice pattern that forms the foundation of the series. We explored adding layers of texture and depth through pin tucks in varying widths, echoing the quiet geometry of the screens. The final touch that ties the collection together is the embroidered trims with subtle cut-outs.

We are also introducing a pair of shorts and pants to go with many of our pieces beyond SHOJI. Made from 100% premium linen, they are perfect for our summer weather. We also added embroidered trims on the side seams for a touch of SHOJI.
